Its hard to believe we are once again at our last class of the season. Before we transition back to plant walks from June until September, we have the good fortune to welcome Lisa Fazio of The Root Circle to lead a timely conversation on bioregional herbalism.

In this class Lisa will share about her practice as a bioregional herbalist. We will discuss the definition of “bioregion” and what it means to “live in place”, especially in an increasingly globalized society. We’ll talk about the tradition of “village healers”, how our experience of living locally has changed, and how a focus on building relationships with the plants we see at our feet can positively impact the health of people, plants and planet.

We will also practice making a bioregional profile together based on the workbook designed by Lisa. All participants will receive a pdf of the workbook before class.
