Syracuse Herbal SG August 2025: The City Walk

Welcome back everyone to our annual city walk, where we feature an area of Syracuse and talk about the common plants that we see around us everyday. This is important not only to show that being an herbalist and a naturalist is possible even in an urban setting, but because the most useful plants in our Western apothecary like to grow closest to people - which most of us believe is not an accident.

This year's city walk will be held at Burnet Park, please meet us at the main parking lot. Come join us as we discuss the backbones of Western herbalism, plants like dandelion, plantain, burdock, chickweed and goldenrod. Once you becomes allies with these plants, you'll be off to the races.
