Syracuse Herbal SG Sept 2026: A Tree Walk

It seems impossible that we are already at our last walk of the 2026 season, but here we are! Before we head inside for the cooler Fall and Winter evenings ahead, please join us for a walk with the trees with guest teacher and local arborist Colleen Lathey. Colleen is a professor at SUNY ESF specializing in tree botany and ID, and we are so grateful that she has agreed to share her knowledge and experience with us this month at study group.

Come join us as we explore the bountiful varieties of tree species at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, learning about their properties, biology and strategies for successful identification of these often tricky members of the plant world.
